I would like to extend a special thank you to VPvisuals for inviting Phil Roc Photography to participate in a joint creative effort with Cheese Connoisseur magazine to create photos for their publication that will be available in late March 2016. One of the photos will be selected for the cover of the magazine which has previously featured such celebrities as Mario Batali, William Shatner and Masterchef Junior Season 1 winner Alexander Weiss.
The photos and article will focus on Adam Jay Moskowitz, the largest cheese importer in the United States and Hip Hop emcee ‘The Beat Poet’. Adam is an energetic, animated personality with decades of cheese knowledge to share. He is a third generation cheese monger and has taken the family business to the next level. It was a fantastic day taking photos of Adam and learning about his businesses ‘Larkin Cold Storage’ and ‘Columbia Cheese’ which includes a yearly cheese competition called ‘Cheesemonger Invitational’.
The cheeses were delicious, the education was enlightening and Adam’s personality came through in the photos. I can’t wait to share them with you when the magazine is published.
