People Magazine - Guiding Eyes for the Blind - Wrangler Graduates

What an amazing experience I had the privilege to have when I attended a graduation at Guiding Eyes for the Blind.  Raising, Training and Pairing these amazing creatures with their human counterparts is no easy task.  It was not something I ever thought of and now I have such respect for all of the people involved at the various levels of this amazing journey.  Wrangler is one very special Guide Dog as he was raised by a famous family.  The Today Show took on the emotional weight of raising Wrangler as a pup for a year with the help of Saxon Eastman.  Now grown up, Wrangler was trained for many months and has been paired with Bill Stevens a jazz pianist who will now enjoy the assistance of Wrangler by his side.

Photos I took from the graduation are currently running in an article on People Magazine's website and can specifically be found by going straight to the article here.

The full article will be available in People Magazine this Friday September 16th, 2016.

It is clear to me that everyone involved becomes family and feels a huge sense of pride in what they are doing.   Please contact Guiding Eyes for the Blind if you are interested in raising a puppy or volunteering time at one of their facilities.
